Hallstatt Day Trip

At the indicated time, you'll meet at the terminal located at Hubert-Sattler-Gasse 1. Here, you'll board a bus ready to head out into the Austrian countryside. You'll travel through the stunning Lake Region, or Salzkammergut, in the direction of the enchanting town of Hallstatt.

As you journey through the towns and villages surrounding Salzburg, you'll be immersed in the spectacular natural landscapes of idyllic rural Austria. As soon as you arrive in Hallstatt, you'll have two hours to explore the town and learn its history and culture.

You'll wander through Hallstatt, admiring the views of the peaceful lake and the mountains surrounding it as well as the typical hillside houses. Did you know that Hallstatt has often been listed as the world's most beautiful town?

Then, we recommend heading to the World Heritage View platform where you'll be able to admire the incredible scenery. Or, you could even visit the famous Bone Chapel or take the cable car to enjoy a bird's eye view of the town.

At the end of the day, we'll make the return journey to Salzburg, where we'll arrive five and a half hours after pickup.
