Discover Mozart's birthplace and visit its landmarks in a different way on this amphibious bus tour of Salzburg. You can't miss out on experiencing this unique transport method on both land and water.
Description
At the agreed time, we'll be waiting for you at 1a Franz-Josef-Kai. There we'll hop on a very unique bus that'll take us on a panoramic tour of Salzburg. Pay close attention, because during the route this vehicle will turn into a boat. How cool is that?
We'll start with a short tour along the river and then exit at Müllnersteg to continue on land.
Then we'll visit Mirabell Palace and the house where Mozart was born and also where the composer created his first works as a child. We'll have the chance to see Leopoldskron Castle, a Rococo-style villa that served as one of the sets for the movie The Sound of Music.
Then, we'll also visit one of the oldest districts in the city: Mülln, where some mills dating back to the Middle Ages are still standing. Afterwards, we'll make our way back to the starting point again with a "splash down" on the river.
On this last part of the tour, we'll enjoy the most amazing skyline view of Salzburg while sailing on the Salzach River.
Lastly, after an hour and a half exploring the city, we'll part ways at the meeting point.
