At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Largo do Pelourinho and begin this enriching experience in a cultural and musical space. Fancy delving into the sound creativity and the most traditional rhythms from Salvador? Let's go!
In Salvador, the typical rhythms of the region form part of the day-to-day life of the city's inhabitants. Inspired by the African continent, we'll find many similarities to samba and even candombe ceremonies.
During the class, we'll learn the percussion and samba-reggae, led by experienced musicians that will give us basic guidelines to allow us to explore the versatility of local music production. Did you know that they even inspired Michael Jackson himself?
Once we've finished the class, we'll say our goodbyes and bring this activity to an end after between 2 and 3 hours.
Pickup
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between the option that includes accommodation pickup and drop-off. In this case, we'll collect you from your chosen accommodation in Salvador between an hour and 30 minutes before the start of the class.
