Cachoeira Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Salvador to start our day trip to Cachoeira. Are you ready? Let's go!

Our first stop will be the beautiful town of Santo Amaro, where we'll admire its church, market, and colonial mansions. There, we'll visit the Samba de Roda Museum, which commemorates Bahia's mix of music and dance.

Afterwards, we'll arrive at our destination: Cachoeira. As soon as you set foot in this town, which has been declared a National Heritage Site, we'll appreciate that it has preserved its historical and architectural essence. Proof of this are the impressive churches of the Third Order of Mount Carmel and of Our Lady of the Rosary.

We'll also visit the house of the Sisterhood of Our Lady of the Good Death, a religious group where they remember the importance of the racial struggle in the country, a perfect combination of Brazilian history and culture!

Our tour will continue as we cross the Paraguaçu River until we reach São Felix. There, we'll stop at a ranch to refuel with a delicious lunch consisting of a typical dish of the local cuisine.

After lunch,we'll head to the last point of our excursion: a Danneman cigar factory founded in the 19th century, where we'll learn all the secrets about traditional cigars.

Finally, we'll say goodbye at the starting point 10 hours after the beginning of the activity.
