Cafayate Day Trip (12 hours)
The day trip will start by travelling through the south of the province, where we'll admire the beautiful natural landscapes of the Lerma Valley. The route will continue to the famous Quebrada de las Conchas canyon, also known as the Shell's Ravine, which stands out for the curious shape of its rocks. Then we'll continue to the Cafayate vineyards, to enjoy an exquisite tasting of local wines.
The itinerary will be similar to the Cafayate Day Trip.
Cachi Day Trip (12 hours)
During this private day trip from Salta, we'll enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Calchaquí Valleys. One of our stops will be the Cuesta del Obispo (Bishop's Slope), where we'll admire the famous Valle Encantado. The route will continue along the Tin Tin and Payogasta lines until we reach the city of Cachi, to visit the Pío Pablo Díaz Archaeological Museum and the beautiful San José Church.
The route will be the same as the Cachi Day Trip.
Humahuaca Day Trip (13 hours)
We'll leave Salta and head to Purmamarca, a charming village where we'll observe the colourful diversity of the famous Cerro de Los Siete Colores. The next stops will be Maimará and Pucará de Tilcara, a fort built in the 12th century by the pre-Columbian Omaguaca tribe. Then we'll visit the city of Uquía, the demarcation line of the Tropic of Capricorn and the historical centre of Humahuaca declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The tour will be similar to the Quebrada de Humahuaca Day Trip.
Salinas Grandes Day Trip (13 hours)
After leaving Salta and crossing the villages of Yala, Volcán and Tumbaya we'll stop at the Mirador de la Montaña de Los Siete Colores. Then the tour will continue to Purmamarca to take the road to Cuesta del Lipán and other trails that will lead us to the Salinas Grandes. The contrast of its intense white colour with the blue of the sky will be sure to impress you! Finally, we'll go on a hiking route lasting approximately 40 minutes along the Los Colorados mountain road.
The route will be similar to the Salinas Grande Trip and Los Colorados Trek.
Salinas Grandes and Journey to the Clouds Day Trip (13 hours)
From Salta, we'll go to the Quebrada del Toro to see how the tracks of the Tren a las Nubes (Train to the Clouds) rise; a railway located at more than 4200 metres (14000 feet) above sea level. The itinerary will continue through other points of interest such as the Viaducto del Toro and the Tres Morros sites. The tour will continue on to the Salinas Grandes. Then, before returning to Salta, we'll pass by the Nevado del Cachi and Purmamarca.
The itinerary will be the same as the Salinas Grande Day Trip.
Humahuaca and Hornocal Day Trip (13 hours)
We'll pick you up from Salta and head to the Quebrada de Humahuaca and the village of Purmamarca, its landscapes will captivate you! The tour will continue to the mountainous area of the Paleta del Pintor, named after its many colour varieties. Then we'll go to the colonial centre of Humahuaca, where we'll get into a jeep to move around the zigzagging roads of the Serranías del Hornocal.
The tour will be similar to the Humahuaca & Serrania de Hornocal Day Trip.
Pick up
The day trips include pick up between 6:30 and 9 am, depending on each day trip, we'll pick you up at the hotel in the centre of Salta. If you're staying in other more remote areas we'll meet at the meeting point located at 45 Buenos Aires street.
