Discover the wine-producing region of Argentina on this trip to Cafayate, which produces some of the most popular wines in the north of the country.
Cafayate Day Trip
Between 6:30 am and 7:10 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in the city centre or the meeting point, according to your preference. The tour will start in the south of the province and head through the beautiful villages of the Lerma Valley.
We'll then make a stop at the Quebrada de La Conchas mountain range, where thousands of years of erosion has carved peculiar rock formations: the castle, the toad, the devil, and the amphitheatre. After taking some photos, we'll set off for Cafayate, one of the most famous wine-producing towns in northern Argentina.
In Cafayete, we'll visit a local winery to discover the secrets of Argentine wine, one of the finest wines in Latin America. You'll also enjoy a tasting of Torrontés wine, made from the grape which is grown in the Valley of Cafayate. Afterwards, you'll have some free time to eat lunch and explore the city at your leisure.
In the evening, we'll head back to Salta, arriving by around 6:30 pm.
