Description
Our journey starts on schedule at La Manchuria farm, only 8 kilometers (5 miles) from the center of Salgar. We'll have a tasty breakfast of coffee, juice, and fruit to boost our energy for the upcoming hike.
After breakfast, we'll begin our three-hour uphill trek through the coffee reserve of the hacienda. As we explore the coffee plantations of Salgar, we'll enjoy stunning views of the Antioquian Andes and learn about the local plant and animal life. The beautiful views will amaze you.
This walk takes us through ancient coffee plantations, forests, and mountains, letting us breathe the fresh mountain air, creating a deep connection with Colombian nature, and discover the region's fascinating coffee history.
Once we reach the top of one of the magnificent peaks in the region, we'll enjoy an outdoor picnic. Our lunch includes a variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and refreshing drinks. During the ninety-minute break, you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
We'll then resume our hike and retrace our steps to the La Manchuria farm. This six-hour adventure ends back at the starting point.
