When the clock strikes 8:00 am, we will meet up in the center of Salerno and being our fantastic adventure. We will get into a car and drive to the idyllic coastal village of Vietri sul Mare just 15 minutes away.
Once there, we will stroll through the historical center of Vietri sul Mare, discovering charming alleys, traditional pottery shops, and incredible views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. This stunning area of the Amalfi Coast is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site!
You then have two hours of free time to continue exploring this beautiful town in your own way. Don't miss the magnificent cathedral of San Giovanni, a beautiful temple that combines Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque styles due to the numerous renovations it has undergone over the centuries.
After, we will head to the picturesque village of Cetara, where we will arrive 20 minutes later. Here we will discover how the town's famous traditional delicacy is made: anchovy sauce. Once we have tasted this popular dressing, you will have an hour and a half of free time to eat and explore this pretty town.
We will finish the excursion by driving back to Salerno where we arrive at 4.00 pm.
