Pompeii Excursion
At the appointed time, we'll meet at Salerno Central Station. There, we'll board a train for a quick and comfortable scenic trip to the legendary ruins of Pompeii, enjoying beautiful views of the Amalfi Coast along the way. Ready for a journey into the past?
Once we arrive, we'll be met by a knowledgeable guide who, after providing us with priority access tickets to the archaeological park, will lead us on a two-hour tour to discover the secrets of the ancient colony buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Strolling through these ancient Roman streets brimming with history, we'll visit elegant domus, theaters, the lupanare, baths, and stores, until we reach the iconic forum, where we'll be able to see casts of some victims of the eruption.
During the tour, we'll learn all about the lifestyle, customs, and habits of the ancient Romans, including how they spent their free time and many interesting anecdotes about the city before it was tragically buried by lava.
At the end of the tour, the guide will give you directions back to the station and, if you want to stay longer at the archaeological park, they will also give you some tips on how to continue the visit on your own.
