At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Salento and take you to the city's outskirts to admire views of the Cocora Valley and start our private tour.
This place is part of the Colombian Andes and is home to the Quindío wax palm, a rainforest tree endemic to this area that you'll see during our tour.
Next, we'll head to a coffee plantation in Salento to learn all about this product, which has a protected Designation of Origin and holds great importance in the country. Did you know that Colombian coffee is considered to be one of the smoothest and most aromatic in the world?
Afterwards, we'll head to the town's colourful Calle Real street. We'll then make our way to the Alto de la Cruz viewpoint to admire the town from a bird's eye view. In addition, we'll see the Church of Our Lady of Carmen, a building that exhibits a blend of both colonial and Colombian naïf styles.
We'll then go down to the main park to watch the locals come and go and sip a delicious coffee while relaxing.
Having spent 2 hours exploring this town, we'll take you back to your hotel and finish our private tour of Salento.
