At the time of your choice, we'll meet in the Main Square of Salento, in front of the church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Once we've all gathered, we'll get into the jeeps and head to the amazing El Ocaso farm, one of the most prestigious in the Quindío region.
At El Ocaso, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the working process of a Colombian coffee farm. Follow the journey of the coffee beans from their cultivation to the cup. How many types of coffee are there? How is each of them prepared? We'll reveal these fascinating facts and others as we explore the farm's facilities.
You'll learn all about the work of harvesting the coffee, the subsequent drying of the beans, and their passage through the grinder. You'll also learn how to prepare coffee like real Colombians. Then it's time to taste it, paying special attention to its mild aroma and intense flavor.
After an hour and a half visiting the El Ocaso farm, we'll return by jeep to the center of Salento, where we'll say goodbye.
