Circassia Tour + Coffee Farm Visit
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of the Hotel Salento Real to begin our trip around the coffee region of Colombia. Ready? Let's go!
We'll hop on a minibus and make our way to Cirassia along the popular Coffee Highway. On the way, we'll make a stop at a coffee farm. There, we'll visit its extensive coffee crops while we learn about the production process of Colombia's star product. We'll discover everything from cultivation to packaging–this is a real science!
Once we've finished this visit, we'll make another stop to taste a cup of coffee accompanied by a mekatico, a typical snack. Then, we'll continue the tour at Cirassia. We'll set foot in the heart of this beautiful town in Quindío and walk through its colonial streets as we hear about its interesting history.
Lastly, you'll have free time to explore the town. But beforehand, we'll delight in a second mekatico, and this time you'll be able to choose between a sweet or savoury option.
Finally, we'll begin our return journey and say our goodbyes back at the meeting point after a total of 8 hours.
