North East Boa Vista + Ervatão Beach Tour
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel and head northeast to get to know this part of Boa Vista. Ready for a day full of fascinating sights? Let's get started!
Our first stop will be Rabil, the second most populated city on the island. We'll learn about the local customs as we explore its streets, discovering its handicraft stores and the church of Rabil. Afterward, we'll travel to the Fonte Vicente Oasis.
Here we'll tour this impressive natural area, full of fruit trees, including giant fig trees, sturdy almond trees, and exotic baobabs. Nearby, we'll find Curral Velho, known for housing the remains of a large salt mine surrounded by large golden dunes.
Also, we'll visit the wild beach and the islet of Curral Velho, a place frequented by divers due to its large number of exotic fish. We'll return to the minibus and head to the dreamy Ervatão beach, a paradise on earth with crystal clear waters and white sand. Did you know that this is also the most significant nesting site for loggerhead sea turtles? If we're lucky, we might be able to spot them first hand!
After 30 minutes of free time on the beach, we'll head to our last destination - Fundo das Figueras, a small village where you can have lunch in a local restaurant at your own leisure.
Lastly, we'll drop you off back at your hotel around 4 pm.
