Get ready for a thrilling day packed with adrenaline and breathtaking landscapes! At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the Wali offices in Saiq to begin an unforgettable trekking adventure to Al Shalal cave.
Our journey starts with a 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) trek through the stunning Omani mountains, where we’ll be surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty. Along the way, we’ll make several stops to take in the incredible scenery and snap some memorable photos.
We’ll pause at a natural pool, where we can cool off with a refreshing swim and recharge for the next leg of the hike. From there, we’ll continue to the summit of Al Shalal cave, where the real adventure begins—abseiling!
With safety equipment provided, we’ll gear up for an exhilarating 40-meter (131 feet) descent into the cave. Get ready to feel the adrenaline rush, it’s a thrilling experience you won’t forget!
After conquering the cave, we’ll take an alternative route back, giving you even more opportunities to explore the beauty of Oman’s rugged desert landscapes.
Then, 6 hours after we began, we’ll return to our starting point in Saiq, wrapping up an epic day of adventure and exploration.
