Excellent: the guide explained to us, in very correct Spanish, different aspects of wine growing, the different types of grapes, the differences between wines from the same winery and various other things, concluding with a tasting of three types of wine. All of this, always in my opinion, unbeatable.

Tour Details

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the Château Tour Baladoz winery and, from this unique spot in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, we'll begin to learn all about the wine of the Saint-Émilion area.

First up, we'll go inside this Château to admire its interior, as well as the techniques used to elaborate delicious and exclusive wines. From the vat cellar to the barrel cellar, as well as the different technical installations of the Château, we'll see it all!

Afterward, we'll go to the vineyards, the perfect place to spot the different varieties of grapes that are produced and used in the elaboration of the wine. We'll also share some fun facts about the process of vine cultivation, as well as about the maturation phase.

Next, we'll leave Château Tour Baladoz behind and head to the next winery, Château La Croizille. Here, we'll again take a tour of both the interior and exterior of all its facilities, and learn how to differentiate the techniques used by the different producers of these wineries. As we'll see, the most modern technological advances allow us to perfect more and more the winemaking process, resulting in wines of excellent quality.

To finish on a high note, we'll enjoy a tasting of three wines from the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation.

After a 1-hour tour, we'll conclude the wine experience in this last winery.
