When selecting this activity, you can choose between a 2,4 or 8 day spiritual retreat. All the options include collection to and from your hotel in Rurrenbaque as well as provided transport to the retreat centre, where you'll enjoy a few days of pure mind cleansing.
2 Day Ceremony
We'll pick you up at 2 pm and once we arrive at the retreat centre we'll take a nice stroll around the area in order to familiarise ourselves with the surroundings. Shortly after, you'll be given free time till 7 pm. This is when the meditation session will begin. We'll meet in the ceremonial temple and, after an introductory talk, the ritual will begin and we'll drink ayahuasca while the shaman guides us in connecting with our inner selves. At 2 am the ceremony will end and we'll go to sleep.
On the following day, we'll have breakfast and a chat to discuss the results of the experience. At 11 am we'll take you back to your hotel.
4 Day Ceremony
Day 1: After arriving at the retreat centre and having some time to explore the surroundings and meditate, we'll enjoy a tasty dinner and get an early night's rest until the next day.
Day 2: After breakfast, the morning will be spent walking through the jungle, learning about medicinal plants. Soon after, we'll have lunch and you'll have the afternoon free to rest and prepare for the ceremony, which will take place later on that evening.
Day 3: We'll start the day with a colloquium to help us process the experience. Lunch will be followed by a walk in the jungle. In the evening we'll have dinner and have an early night.
Day 4: After breakfast, we'll drive you back to your hotel in Rurrenbaque.
8 Day Ceremony
The schedule will not differ from previous options, however, this one includes 3 ayahuasca healing ceremonies and a shamanic diet consisting of white rice, fish, and green banana. In addition, you'll take a medicinal plant that will add to the purification process of the body and mind. The ayahuasca rituals will take place on days 2, 4, and 6. The rest of the days will be used to relax and process the experience. During your free time, you can take a walk in the jungle, swim in the natural springs, meditate or make use of the magnetotherapy treatments.
Food and Accommodation
This activity includes 1, 3 or 7 nights of accommodation at the Cerro del Brujo retreat centre in Rurrenbaque.
All options include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's important to remember that on the nights before the ayahuasca ceremony it's not recommended to have lunch or dinner, so lunch and dinner on the days of the ritual are not included. The included meals consist of a first and second course, a drink, and fruit.
