Madidi National Park 3-Day Trip
Day 1
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point in Rurrenabaque. Then, we'll head to the riverport of the city to take a boat ride on the Beni River.
After a 2-hour boat ride, we'll arrive at the Madidi National Park and Integrated Management Natural Area. We'll go through the ticket control and then sail for 1 hour on the Tuichi River. During the trip, we'll marvel at the majestic Bala Mountains, as well as various birds, such as herons and kingfishers.
Afterwards, we'll have a buffet lunch on board and continue sailing through the Madidi landscapes. Finally, we'll go to a camp for dinner and spend the night.
Before going to bed, we'll have a Pacha Mama ceremony to invigorate the body and mind.
Day 2
After breakfast at the camp, we'll go on a walk to learn about the local fauna and flora. We'll see monkeys, snakes, toucans, and a great variety of insects! We'll also learn all about the local medicinal plants, including their preparation and application.
We'll then return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, we'll enjoy an artisan workshop with local seeds and palms. Then, you'll have the rest of the afternoon free. Following dinner, we'll go on a night walk to discover the nocturnal animals in the area!
Day 3
On this last day, we'll get up early to admire the sunrise. Afterwards, we'll have breakfast and go on another hike to see the great biodiversity of this beautiful natural area of Bolivia.
Then, we'll return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, we'll start our return trip to Rurrenabaque. We'll arrive back at the meeting point at 5:30 pm.
