Rovinj Free Walking Tour
Free Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll begin this tour at the Denkmal Monument. Ready to discover one of Istria's most unique cities? This peninsula on the Adriatic Sea houses a rich heritage that we'll dive head-first into.
We'll make our way to our first stop: Gradska Tržnica, Rovinj's market, where we'll discover some of the most popular products in the area. The tour will then go to Trg Na Mostu, a picturesque square where we can appreciate the city's traditional architecture. Very close by, we'll see the Balbi Arch, one of the main entrances to the city's historical centre.
Once we head into the historical centre, we'll pass by emblematic spots such as Veli Trg Square and the Church of St. Euphemia. After learning about the history of this baroque church, we'll continue the tour down Ulica Montalbano. Did you know that this is one of the most photographed streets in Rovinj? Find out why on this tour!
We'll continue along the seaside promenade Obala Pina Budicina, where we'll enjoy the beautiful sights of the Rovinj Port. Currently, it's one of the main maritime terminals for Adriatic Sea cruises.
Lastly, after 1.5 hours, we'll conclude the free tour in the square dedicated to Tito, where we'll speak about Croatia's Yugoslavic past.
