Having been picked up from your hotel in Rovaniemi at the scheduled time, you'll be taken deep into the mysterious forests that surround Lapland's capital ready for a unique experience that you'll never forget. What will it be? We'll reveal it all below!
Arriving at the side of a lake, you'll see typical Finnish saunas, but with a twist: they're floating! Constructed in the summer of 2012, these curious structures were designed to bring a new concept to the traditional bathing ritual. Intrigued? Climb on board to see how it works!
You'll cruise on the lake on your sauna boat, which is equipped with a traditional wood cabin in which you'll be able to relax and unwind in the heat. There are also benches on the boat deck for you to sunbathe and take in the beautiful views, or - depending on what time you choose to do your activity - admire the incredible phenomenon of the midnight sun!
Before the tour comes to an end, we'll enjoy a delicious blueberry tea served on board the floating sauna boat. You'll also be able to take a dip in the lake.
At the end of your special cruise on the lakes of Finland, you'll be taken back to Rovaniemi and dropped off at your hotel.
