Make your trip to Rovaniemi unforgettable with this reindeer sleigh ride experience. The capital of Lapland is the perfect place to meet Santa's helpers!

Reindeer Sleigh Ride

At the scheduled time, we'll meet in the center of Rovaniemi. From there, we'll make our way to a reindeer farm where Finnish shepherds care for and train these polar animals, the only deer that allow themselves to be domesticated.

During the visit, their caretakers will tell us all about daily life at a reindeer farm and some curiosities about Santa's famous helpers. Did you know that their herds can be more than a hundred members?

After making friends with them, we'll set off for the sleigh ride through the snowy forests around the farm as we admire the white trails and frosted trees providing the perfect backdrop for this experience! We'll take a 40-minute tour in which we'll marvel at the environment that surrounds us.

At the end of the ride, we'll be served a snack and a traditional warm drink from this region of Finland while we continue getting to know our new four-legged friends.

Finally, we'll drive you back to the meeting point in Rovaniemi, where we'll bring this tour to an end after 2.5 hours together.

Realizamos el paseo largo con renos. Nuestro guía hasta la granja, Diogo, muy amable y atento. Nos explicó un montón de cosas. Una vez allí, la actividad muy bien: paseo en trineo y después te pasan a una cabaña donde te explican muchas cosas sobre los renos y te dan bebida caliente y dulces. La actividad muy bien, te llevan en trineo y luego te explican mucho sobre los renos. Pero pone que es en español y el chofer era italiano y ahi todo en ingles. Tenia que traducirle a mi padre y era un poco agobiante tener que hacer de traductora cuando he contratado un tour en español Translate this opinion into English.

The activity is very good, they take you on a sleigh and then they explain a lot about the reindeer. But it says that it is in Spanish and the driver was Italian and everything is in English. Esta actividad es diferente al resto de las que ofrecen por la zona.Te desplazan a media hora de Santa Claus Village y el recorrido es por un bosque durante casi una hora, en una caravana de renos. Super ! L’activité a été réduite à cause du manque de neige pour faire la grande balade. Mais nous avons pu faire un petit tour et la rencontre avec les rennes pour les nourrir était très sympa. Nous avons aussi pu marcher sur un lac complètement gelé. Les explications autour du feu par l’animateur avec boisson et petit biscuits était très agréable. Une belle découverte.
