Finnish Sauna, Ice Swimming + Dinner
Activity Details
Are you in Rovaniemi and want to enjoy the most typical traditions of Lapland in one day? Perfect! After being picked up from your hotel, you'll be taken far away from the bright city lights, heading deep into the snowy forests surrounding Rovaniemi.
As we arrive at the shore of a breathtaking lake, you'll begin to feel the relaxation taking hold of your body. The night will have fallen over the Lappish forests and it'll be time for a unique experience in a Finnish sauna.
We'll enter the Finnish sauna, a wooden cabin heated with firewood in which the temperature will reach 70ºC. Once the heat settles into your body, you'll get out to jump into the icy water of the lake and enjoy the health benefits of this temperature contrast.
After enjoying the sauna and the bath, we'll have a delicious dinner consisting of flamed salmon by the fireplace - the perfect way to warm up! To put the finishing touch to the evening, we'll go out near the lake and look up at the sky to see one of the most incredible natural wonders in the world: the magical Northern Lights.
With this impressive image of the dance of green, pink, or blue lights etched into our minds forever, we'll return to your hotel in Rovaniemi after a 5-hour tour.
Northern Lights
Please note that the northern lights can only be seen in the evening hours during the aurora season (mid-October to mid-March). As this is a natural phenomenon, it's impossible to be certain you'll be able to see the lights. If they can't be seen on your tour, we'll offer you another opportunity to see them, but unfortunately cannot offer a refund.
