Ferry to Inis Mór

Set sail from Rossaveel Harbour and enjoy the short 40-minute ferry ride out to the island. Once you've arrived, you'll have the rest of the day to explore its spectacular landscapes at your own pace. Be sure to see as much as you can!

During your visit to the island, which has been inhabited since the year 3,000 BC, you'll have the chance to sample some of the local food and drink at a typical Irish restaurant. Or, if you'd prefer, you can enjoy a relaxing horse and carriage ride around the island, which will bring you to the most iconic locations. This island is home to many fascinating ancient monuments and natural features such as the Poll na bPéist (Wormhole) and rugged sea cliffs.

Ferry times

This ticket allows you to take the ferry at any of the departure times:

Rossaveel to Inis Mór: 10:30 am, 1 pm or 6:30 pm.

Inis Mór to Rossaveel: 8:15 am or 5 pm. On Saturdays, there's an additional departure at 9 am.

Important Information

You must be at the ferry terminal at least 45 minutes before the departure time. If you take the ferry from Rossaveel to Inis Mór at 6:30 pm, you will have to stay on the island overnight. The price of spending the night on the island is not included in the price of this ticket.
