Cantina Mazzarosa Wine Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Cantina Mazzarosa, located 3 kilometers from the center of Roseto degli Abruzzi. Ready to check out the most famous winery in Abruzzo?

After welcoming you to this mid-19th-century winery, we'll start making our way through its facilities. Taking you through its vineyards, olive groves and the barrel room, we'll discover all the secrets of the exquisite wine produced by this brand. We'll even be able to see a huge barrel of 1,000 hectoliters, the largest in Europe!

During the tour, we'll learn all about Giuseppe Devincenzi and his links to Italian politics and the history of the winery. You'll also find out what this famous character did to turn this facility into one of the country's most innovative wine production plants.

Before the end of the visit, we'll participate in a wine tasting that will include 5 glasses, including a glass of vino cotto, one of the most representative wines of the Abruzzo region. We'll pair the wine with typical appetizers such as cured meats, cheeses, bruschetta with oil from the estate and some cantuccini for a sweet touch.

After a two-hour visit, we will end the activity by saying goodbye at the starting point.
