Visit the most famous natural pools in the province of Salta with this fantastic hiking route through the hot springs of Rosario de la Frontera, where you can bathe in the so-called "miraculous waters"!
Rosario de la Frontera Hot Springs Hike
Between 8 and 9 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Rosario de la Frontera. We will travel by bus to the outskirts of the city, where the Termas estate is located: a beautiful setting made up of nine natural pools of thermal waters.
As soon as we arrive at the estate, we will set off on a hiking route through the thermal pools, visiting seven of the nine pools in total. The different thermal springs, located in a beautiful yungas jungle, reach different temperatures. Some are over 50º Celsius and there is even one that reaches up to 99º Celsius.
We will bathe in the hot springs with the most moderate temperatures. Their "miracle waters", so-called because of their invigorating properties, are very beneficial for treating arthrosis, rheumatism, and other similar ailments.
We will complete our tour of this special environment by visiting the facilities of the famous Hotel Termas, which was inaugurated in 1880. It is therefore one of the pioneering examples of thermal tourism in the province of Salta, very popular not only among the local population but also among Argentinians from other provinces of the country.
Finally, we will enjoy a tasty snack next to the hot springs and at 12 pm we will return by bus to your hotel in Rosario de la Frontera.
