At the time indicated, we'll meet at Via del Lavatore to start this interesting tour of the Trevi Fountain and its underground world. Welcome to this exciting journey that will take you below the surface of this icon in Rome!
With introductions over, we'll start talking about the Trevi Fountain, which is much more than a fountain that people throw coins into. Opposite this fascinating monument, we'll discuss its history, legends and mythological figures that decorate it. We'll uncover all its details!
After exploring the Trevi Fountain, we'll head underground. Here, we'll visit an archaeological site located 9 metres (30 feet) underground, where we'll find a unique ancient aqueduct that continues to manage water.
In addition, we'll visit the remains of Domus Imperial, where we'll travel back in time and learn about the Eternal City. Of course, before ending the tour, don't forget to abide by the tradition of throwing a coin in the Trevi Fountain. But before doing this, we'll tell you about the origin of this custom.
After 40 minutes, we'll end this tour in the heart. Arrivederci!
