Florence Excursion from Rome

Having met up at the designated time on Via Marsala in Rome, you'll hop on the high-speed train to get to Florence as quickly, safely, and comfortably as possible with the help of the friendly assistant who'll accompany you throughout the day.

Once in Florence, you'll be able to explore its historic centre, seeing Duomo Square, where you can find the Florence Cathedral, the Giotto Bell Tower, and St. John's Baptistry, with its famous "Gates of Paradise", among tons of other iconic places.

You'll surely want to stroll past the fascinating Palazzo Vecchio, the Logia dei Lanzi, the Neptune Fountain and the Cosimo I Equestrian Monument. And don't forget the famous Ponte Vecchio.

Your self-guided tour includes admission to the world-famous Uffizi Gallery with skip-the-line admission. This museum, one of the most renowned in the world, contains some of the most iconic works by geniuses such as Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rafael and Tiziano.

At lunchtime, you'll get to have a meal at a beautiful local restaurant where you'll discover some of the major differences between Florentine and Roman cuisine.

Finally, we recommend checking out the Piazza della Republica, where you can buy a souvenir, wander the Ponte Vecchio, or visit a leather workshop, one of the most famous products in the city.

After hopping back on the high-speed train, your self-guided day trip will finish back at the starting point after a total of 13 and a half hours.
