Excursion to Punta Mita & the Marieta Islands
Excursion to Punta Mita & the Marieta Islands
At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Riviera Nayarit, where we'll set off for Punta Mita.
After about 45 minutes, we'll arrive in this small coastal village located at a strategic point in Banderas Bay. First, we'll walk through the area's narrow streets, admiring the local artisan shops and the beautiful beaches of the Mexican Pacific. Then, we'll hop on a boat to our next destination: the Marieta Islands.
When we arrive, you'll go on an exciting one-hour snorkeling trip to explore the rich underwater life of these prized islands. Keep a lookout for manta rays, octopus, dolphins, starfish and even whale sharks!
And don't forget to look up! This archipelago is home to the majestic blue-footed booby, a bird known for nesting on the ground that can only be found here and Ecuador's Galapagos Islands.
Later, we'll set sail back to Punta Mita, where we'll refuel with a tasty lunch including a dish with your choice of fish or chicken, accompanied by two drinks.
At the end of the activity, we'll take you back to your hotel in Riviera Nayarit, arriving at 3:30 pm.
