If you like nature and you're staying in Rio de Janeiro, you'll love our Tijuca National Park Hiking Activity! You'll discover the fauna and flora of one of the largest urban forests in the world on this unforgettable adventure.
Tijuca National Park Hiking Activity
Having picked you up at 8 am from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro, we'll take you to the Tijuca National Park so we can start exploring one of the largest urban green areas in the world.
When we get to the park, we'll set off on a 4-mile, moderate-difficulty hiking route. Along the way, we'll see iconic Tijuca landmarks such as the Taunay Waterfall and the Cova da Onça Suspension Bridge.
Our hike will then continue to the Mayrink Chapel and then through a eucalyptus forest where we'll see the famous Morcegos Grotto. Let's see what's inside!
Next, we'll head to the Baronesa Waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip in the clean, crystal-clear water.
We'll then walk back to the starting point of the hiking route and return to your hotel in Rio de Janeiro, where we'll arrive at 1 pm.
Hotel pickup
This activity includes pickup from hotels in the following neighbourhoods in Rio de Janeiro: Glória, Santa Teresa, Catete, Flamengo, Praia de Botafogo, Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon. If your accommodation is located somewhere else, we'll arrange an alternative meeting point.
