Would you like to enjoy the landscapes of Rio from the sea? On this boat tour of the Tijuca Islands, we'll sail around this paradisiacal Carioca archipelago and make several stops for snorkelling.
Description
At the indicated time we'll meet at Ilha da Coroa, 2. From this point in the Carioca neighbourhood of Barra da Tijuca, we'll embark on an unforgettable boat trip around the Tijuca Islands. This archipelago is a paradise on the coast of Rio de Janeiro!
From the boat, you'll be able to see emblematic spots on the coast of Rio de Janeiro such as Mountain Pedra da Gávea, the Tijuca National Park forest and Christ the Redeemer. You'll be able to take pictures of all these places as we sail the Atlantic Ocean, in a voyage that'll undoubtedly remain forever etched in your memory.
We'll continue sailing towards the Tijuca Archipelago, formed by the islands of Meio, Alfavaca and Pontuda. We'll make several stops between these uninhabited islets to snorkel and enjoy the seabed, where you'll be able to see starfish and even sea turtles.
In addition, if the weather's good, we'll dock at one of these three islands for a short walk and admire the scenery. We'll then return to the boat for the return trip. On this return trip, we'll sail through the Barra da Tijuca channels, where we'll be able to see animals such as caiman and capybaras.
Finally, we'll conclude this 3-hour trip by returning to the meeting point.
