At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Portugal Avenue in Rio de Janeiro. Are you ready to see the Sugarloaf from a different perspective? Then this is the tour for you!
First of all, we'll go to Urca beach, where we'll give you some tips on how to handle the kayaks. After about 30 minutes of theory, we'll take to the water and paddle to the Tamandaré da Laje Fort, located at the entrance of the Guanabara Bay. From here we'll have a breathtaking view of both the old prison and the famous Sugarloaf Mountain.
Did you know that this fort was used as a prison and several important Brazilian figures were imprisoned there? In addition to enjoying the waters of Rio de Janeiro while paddling on board the kayak, you'll hear some interesting stories about this area of the city.
We'll continue paddling through the waters of Botafogo Bay until we get back to Urca beach, where we'll finish the kayak tour after two and a half hours of activity.
If you choose the kayak tour in the afternoon, you'll be able to watch the stunning sunset over Sugarloaf Mountian! Without a doubt, it'll be a Rio de Janeiro sight that you'll never forget.
