If you're in Rio de Janeiro, you can't miss this skating tour along Olympic Boulevard, where we'll get to know the tourist attractions that mark the identity of the carioca city.
Description
At the indicated time we'll meet at Praça Mauá, in front of the iconic Museum of Tomorrow. There we'll put on the necessary equipment to start this skating tour of Rio de Janeiro's Olympic Boulevard. Ready to roll?
During our tour, we'll walk for about 5 kilometres (3 miles) as we get to know this famous spot in Rio, full of tourist attractions. We'll start by admiring the exterior of the Museum of Tomorrow, built on a disused pier and an icon of the city's identity. Did you know that its construction is organic and sustainable?
We'll pass by other attractions such as the mural painted by Eduardo Kobra, called Ethnicities, where the artist portrayed the five Olympic arches on a 170-metre-long wall, represented in the form of indigenous people from each continent. You'll be surprised by the beauty of this gigantic work of art!
Next, we'll pass in front of AquaRio, the largest aquarium in South America, and the famous Wheel of Fortune, which completes the landscape of the Olympic Boulevard.
Afterward, we'll start our return journey passing by the murals of Armazéns do Porto until we reach Praça XV de Novembro, where we'll be able to appreciate the architecture of the Paço Imperial.
Finally, we'll conclude the skating route along the Olympic Boulevard by returning to the starting point after 2 hours of activity.
