Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain Tour Itinerary

After collecting you from your hotel on the morning of your tour, we will head to the iconic Corcovado hill.

When we have crossed the green and exuberant landscapes of the National Park of the Tijuca, we will arrive at the Christ the Redeemer statue and its observation deck. This spot offers some incredible panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro. From here, we will see the unmistakable circular shape of the Maracaná, el estadio más famoso de Brasil, the most famous stadium in Brazil.

The sculpture of Christ the Redeemer is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. From this iconic location, you will have a bird’s eye view of the principal beaches of Rio de Janeiro - Ipanema, Botafogo, and most famous of all, Copacabana. The fine golden sand can be seen clearly from the Corcovado. This is one of the best points in Rio to take photographs. So don't forget your camera to capture these spectacular views forever!

Our itinerary then continues with a cable car ride to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. This distinctive rocky peak is another symbol of what locals call the ‘carioca city’. It also provides an exclusive viewpoint over the bay of Guanabara which as the location for the sailing competitions during the 2016 Olympic Games.

The tour finishes between 12 pm and 1 pm with drop off at hotels in Rio de Janeiro.

Hotel pickup

The tour includes pickup from hotels in the south zone (Leblon, Ipanema, Botafogo, Flamengo) and the downtown area of Rio de Janeiro. If you're staying in other areas, please let us know in order to determine a new meeting point.

You can also enjoy this service from the cruise port.

Please note

The itinerary could be affected during Carnival celebrations, in which case we'll contact you to inform you of possible changes.
