Tour Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rio at the designated time, and from there we'll climb aboard a minibus and begin our tour of Christ the Redeemer and the Tijuca National Park.
We'll begin our adventure by visiting the famous Christ the Redeemer, to avoid queues and take the best photos. From its world-famous viewpoint, you'll be able to drink in the incredible views of the beaches and skyscrapers of Rio de Janiero: cameras at the ready everyone!
The tour continues on to the picturesque Santa Teresa neighbourhood, a popular district for local artists. It's also well known for the bondinho, a historic tram that still connects Rio. And you'll catch a glimpse of the famous Selarón steps, known for its colourful decoration.
From here, we'll head to the Rio de Janeiro Cathedral, a unique building in the centre of Rio, and we'll pass by the Maracaná Stadium. Next, you'll have some free time where you can grab some lunch.
Having re-energised, we'll visit Parque Lague, a historical and cultural park located at the base of the Corcovado mountain range belonging to the Tijuca National Park. This protected area includes one of the biggest urban jungles in the world
Lastly, we'll give you the option: head to Sugarloaf Mountain, where you can take a cable car to the top of this magnificent hill, or alternatively, end the tour by dropping you off at your hotel.
Hotel Pickup
This activity includes pickup in the centre of Rio and in the Flamengo, Botafogo, Copacabana, and Ipanema neighbourhoods. If you're staying in another area, we'll meet at the Mango Tree Hostel Ipanema.
