Rio Carnival Parade
Rio Carnival Parade
Being in Rio de Janeiro during Carnival and not going to the sambódromo should be considered a crime. With this ticket, you'll have access to the famous sambódromo of the Carioca city, which has a length of 550 meters. There, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the music and dance of one of the most impressive shows in the world.
Samba dancers on fascinating floats and fabulous costumes full of color and glitter. You'll witness one of the most famous experiences in Rio: the parade of the famous Brazilian Carnival. You'll see the six most prestigious samba schools of the city as we dance to the beat of the drums.
Each samba school must perform for at least 65 minutes, with a time limit of 82 minutes; if the time requirement is not met, points are deducted. This is the experience of a lifetime!
Types of parades
Access group
The access group is in charge of some of the most fascinating performances of the Samba Parade. The competition they have is very exciting, as the best school will be part of the Special Group the following year. They pull out all the stops! Although the tickets for the access group parade are cheaper, the experience is still extraordinary, as you'll be able to enjoy the electrifying percussion rhythms performed by the different schools.
The Access Group will perform on February 28 and March 1, 2025.
Special group
The special group is made up of the 12 best Samba schools. These schools pride themselves on performing one of the shows that have brought so much fame to Rio's Carnival. The choreographers and designers of each of the 12 schools prepare the performance in search of the coveted title of champions, which brings much fame and fortune to the champion school.
The Special Group will perform on March 2, 3 and 4 2025.
Parade of Champions
At the parade of champions, you'll be able to enjoy the best samba schools of the Special Group that won previously. When the Special Group champions are declared on Ash Wednesday, the six top schools return for the final competition the following Saturday in search of the coveted title. The parade is certainly the second most important one to attend, starring the six main samba schools, without the tension of competition and more room to enjoy themselves and reassert their top ranking.
The parade of champions will be held on March 8, 2025.
