The BioParque in Rio de Janeiro is a Biodiversity Conservation Centre that has replaced the old Zoo Gardens in the city. Opening in 2021, this park marked a before and after in the history of the conservation of species both in Rio and all over Brazil.
Once inside this area in Quinta da Boa Vista, where royalty used to live, you'll find a huge variety of themed environments based on the three pillars of this place: investigation, conservation and education.
You'll have the chance to explore a real icon in Rio de Janeiro. Plus, both adults and children can learn, become fascinated by nature and have fun at the same time. It's the perfect family plan!
Attractions in the Zoo

The Order of the Day
At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your accommodation in Rio de Janeiro and head to BioParque, taking approximately 45 minutes. Once here, you'll have 3.5 hours of free time to explore and discover the over 1,000 animals of 140 different species, distributed between a total of 51 precincts.
Inside the zoo, you can explore the area at your own pace and follow your own itinerary. However, if you prefer, the guide can also suggest routes and answer any questions. Welcome to the world of animals!
You'll be back in your accommodation after a total of 5 hours.
