At the indicated time, we'll meet at Rua Cunha Matos to begin this guided visit to of Rio Branco, on which a journey through the history and wonders of the capital of the state of Acre.
At the meeting point, we'll stop to observe a gameleira, a very common tree in this area of Brazil that gives its name to many place names in Rio Branco. There, we'll also see the Acre flag flying above us - a symbol of the revolution of the state.
We'll continue our guided tour of Rio Branco passing by landmarks such as Rua África, the Joaquim Macedo Catwalk, and Captain Park Ciríaco along with various significant historical buildings that will help you understand the founding history of Rio Branco.
Other important points of interest include the Autonomists Memorial, the Rio Bronco Palace, the Our Lady of Nazareth Cathedral and the Rubber Museum.
After 2-3 hours of walking, we'll end our guided tour of Rio Branco at the Praça da Revolução square.
