Tubing on the Negro River
At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. Then, from this lodging in Rincon de la Vieja National Park, we'll go on horseback to the Negro River.
After a short route through lush forests, we'll arrive at the riverside area, where we'll put on our helmets and life jackets. The instructor will explain some simple safety rules, and then we'll start tubing down the Negro River!
The tubes are individual inflatable rafts that will allow us to float safely down the river current. We'll travel an exciting 3-mile (5 km) stretch of class II and III rapids – it'll be lots of fun!
During the tour, we'll also enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. As we'll see, this natural space in northern Costa Rica stands out for its lush vegetation that harbors great biodiversity.
Finally, once we get off the tubes, we'll return on horseback to the meeting point, arriving an hour and a half later.
