Rimini Guided Tour
Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time at Corso d'Augusto, very close to the Visitor Center, to begin our guided tour of Rimini.
Our first stop on the tour will be the Roman Ponte di Tiberio. After, we'll reach the Piazza Cavour, where you'll admire the exterior of the Palazzo dell'Arengo, the Palazzo del Podestà, and the Palazzo Garampi.
Then, we'll head to the Old Fish Market of Rimini, whose construction dates back to the mid-18th century. From there, we'll go to the Piazza dei Sogni, where we'll find Castel Sismondo, the medieval fortress that currently houses the Fellini Museum.
Afterward, we'll cross the Piazza Tre Martiri, the site of the ancient Roman forum. It's precisely here where, according to legend, Julius Caesar said the famous phrase "Alea iacta est" ("The die is cast"), referring to the historic Rubicon crossing.
Continuing our tour, we'll set off to Tempio Malatestiano, Rimini's most important Catholic place of worship, which we'll see from outside. Finally, we'll pass by the Arch of Augustus, the gate to enter the city.
After enjoying a 1 hour and 45-minute guided tour of Rimini, we'll wrap up the activity.
Additional Info
We recommend arriving at the meeting point before so you can enjoy the multimedia and interactive tour the Visitor Center offers, a useful introduction to our tour where you'll learn more about Roman Rimini.
