Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle Day Trip
At 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Rijeka and head to Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle, both located in Slovenia.
We'll drive past the border until we reach Postojna Cave, our first stop of the day. Do you know that you're about to see baby dragons? And to do so, we'll venture into the most famous and visited karst cave in Europe, where incredible rock formations created throughout history lie.
And what's more, in order to explore this cave in a more fitting way, we'll hop on a tourist train that'll take us to visit places such as the ballroom or the glass lamps of Postojna, spots otherwise not accessible on foot.
Then, we'll go back outside and head to Predjama Castle, the only cave fortress still standing in Europe. We'll explore the interior and, while touring the different rooms of the castle, we'll learn about Erasmus of Predjama, also known as 'the Slovenian Robin Hood'.
After visiting these two spectacular spots in Slovenia, we'll return to Croatia and drop you off at your hotel in Rijeka at 4 pm.
