Istrian Coast Day Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rijeka at 9 am and start this amazing excursion to Pula and Rovinj, two of the most beautiful towns in Croatia. We'll travel by minibus for 1 hour 30 minutes until we reach the first stop of the day, Pula.
Upon arrival in the largest town on the Istrian peninsula, we'll take a guided tour to see all the must-see sights. First of all, we'll explore the Roman amphitheatre of Pula, the most precious jewel of the town. Did you know that it is one of the best preserved Roman sites in Croatia? We'll admire this important construction while we tell you about its history.
The tour will continue by strolling through Pula's charming streets. The Triumphal Arch of Sergi, the Temple of Augustus, the small Roman theatre, the Gate of Hercules and the Twin Gates will be some of the places we will have the opportunity to see.
Next, we'll head to Rovinj, a medieval town that you'll fall in love with from the moment you set foot in it. We'll stroll through the old town discovering some of its most emblematic corners and monuments, such as the Church of St. Euphemia or Marshal Tito's square.
You'll have 1 hour of free time to have lunch in a local restaurant and then we'll return to Rijeka. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 3 pm.
