Rundāle Palace Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Number 18 on Grēcinieku iela in Riga, once we're all together, we'll hop on the minibus and leave the city behind to head south towards Rundāle Palace. The journey will take approximately one and a half hours.

Once we've arrived at Rundāle Palace, we'll explore this baroque masterpiece, which was completed in 1768 by the Dukes of Curlandia, as Latvia was formerly known.

We'll spend two hours touring every corner and room of this magnificent example of Baroque architecture, as well as its impressive gardens. Did you know that you can find up to 600 varieties of roses in the Rundāle Palace estate?

After the visit to the palace, you'll have free time for lunch. Once we've eaten, we'll make our way towards Bauska Castle, a medieval fortress located at the confluence of two rivers - an unrivalled landscape!

Finally, we'll head back to the capital and bring this tour to an end after 5 hours together.
