Kuldiga Private Tour
Kuldiga Day Trip
At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Riga and travel in a comfortable minibus to Kuldiga. Are you ready to discover one of the most romantic cities in Latvia?
We'll stroll through the old town of Kuldiga, wandering the charming cobbled streets and admiring the typical architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries. During our walking tour, we'll get to hear some of the town's most amazing stories.
One of the highlights of the visit will be seeing the widest waterfall in Europe. Known as the Venta Rapid, the waterfall stretches almost 250 metres wide and is located in the centre of Kuldiga. We'll also see the Town Hall Square, the former house of the burgomaster, or town master, Stefenhagens of Kuldiga and Duke Jacob's Pharmacy.
In the final stretch of the guided tour, we'll enter the Kuldiga Historic Museum, where, as well as learning all about the past of this Latvian town, we'll also see the reconstruction of a wealthy family's apartment from the beginning of the 20th century.
After visiting the museum, you'll have an hour of free time to get lunch in a local restaurant. Finally, we'll meet back up again and enjoy a delicious coffee in Curonia Café.
We'll finish the tour by returning to your hotel in Riga after around 11 and a half hours.
