Kemeri National Park + Jürmala Day Trip
Kemeri National Park + Jürmala Day Trip
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to kick start our adventure-filled day in Jürmala, nestled in the Gulf of Riga.
After a short 40-minute drive headed west, we'll arrive at a peculiar town where we'll see the famous wooden, modernist villas along the seaside.
We'll enjoy a guided tour of the city of Jürmala, and you'll have some free time to stroll along the extensive beachfront in town. Make sure to take in lots of sun, as this spot is among the local favorites!
Next, we'll head over to Kemeri, a former Soviet spa town, where we'll see iconic monuments like the Water Tower and the Sulfur Well.
Following the morning activities, it's time for lunch. You'll have an hour of free time to savor a meal at any of the local restaurants nearby. Then, our journey continues to Kemeri National Park, the third largest park in Latvia. Here, we'll stroll along wooden runways, providing an ideal vantage point to admire the expansive swamp landscapes full of lush green foliage.
Finally, we'll begin our return journey back to Riga, arriving back at your hotel about 5 hours later.
