Free Walking Tour of Riga
Free Walking Tour of Riga
Your free walking tour of Riga will begin at the indicated time at the meeting point in central Riga. What better place to begin your discovery of the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site packed with fascinating history?
Throughout the tour, we'll discover the most important landmarks in Latvia's capital and learn about its history and culture. We'll pass by the Town Hall, the House of the Black Heads, St. Peter's Church and Livu Square.
The tour will continue to St. John's Church, a Lutheran church surrounded by other churches such as St. George's Church.
The free tour will take us to the Cat's House—what's so special about this building and why did it get its name? We'll find out! We'll also go through the Swedish Gate, and see the Three Brothers and St. Jacob's Church.
Finally, after between 1 hour and 45 minutes and 2 hours, we'll bring the tour to a close and say our goodbyes. Until next time!
