Day trip to Tallinn
Description
On the day of the activity, we'll collect you from your hotel in Riga, Latvia's capital, and then set off by bus to Estonia's capital city of Tallinn. The journey between the 2 cities takes around 4 hours. Ready for an Eastern European adventure? Let's go!
Upon arriving in Tallinn, Estonia's capital, we'll begin exploring the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site of Tallinn's Old Town. This historical jewel is renowned as Northern Europe's best-preserved medieval town, and with features like its hidden courtyards and cobblestone streets, it's clear why.
As we enjoy a guided tour around this beautiful city, we'll check out some of its most famous sites including the Town Hall Square, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and Toompea Castle. Of course, our very knowledgeable guide will share many interesting facts as we take in the best of this city's architecture. You'll also have some free time to grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants and shop around a bit, browsing the nearby shops.
Finally, we'll begin our return journey to Riga, where after 12 hours, we'll bring this day trip to an end back at the hotels.
