Corda, Coculi & Figueiral de Cima Excursion
At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ribeira Grande. From there, we'll set off by minibus for Corda, a settlement in the interior of the island of Santo Antão.
Once we arrive, we'll enjoy the spectacular views from this small village, located in the heart of the Cova Natural Park, as well as the impressive footprint of the volcanic crater of Cova de Paul and its lush vegetation.
To really get the lay of the land, we'll go on a three-hour hiking route, during which we'll cross dirt paths and agricultural terraces and see the local crops. A hiking route you'll never forget!
Afterward, we'll return to the minibus and travel to Figueiral de Cima and Terrinha Vermelha, two villages in the most remote part of Santo Antão. After admiring the green valleys and the old typical houses of this Cape Verdean island, we'll make our way to Coculi, a most peculiar place.
There, we'll visit the banks of the Ribeira Grande River and discover all the secrets of this town. We'll finish this excursion returning to your hotel in Ribeira Grande, at approximately 1 pm.
