Looking for adventure plans in Asturias? In this activity of caving in the Picos de Europa we'll leave from Ribadesella to explore some amazing caves of the Principality, not to be missed!

Picos de Europa Caving Trip

At the indicated time we'll meet at the adventure sports centre located on Pico Street in Ribadesella. There we'll get kitted out with the overalls, helmets and the rest of the necessary safety equipment.

Once we're ready, we'll take a short 10-minute walk to the Picos de Europa cave where we'll do the activity. On arrival at the entrance to the cave, the instructor will give a brief technical explanation of the route.

After this talk, we'll start an exciting caving route in the Picos de Europa. We'll start the route by entering a crevice that will give us access to an amazing cave. As we pass the different obstacles in the cave, we'll discover stalactites, stalagmites, lava flows and other geological formations.

At the end of this caving route through the cave, we'll go back outside and return to Ribadesella, where we'll finish this 3 hour activity. We'll leave you at the place from where we left, where you can use the changing rooms to change your clothes.

We really enjoyed the activity thanks to the fact that our guide José made our visit very enjoyable and interesting. He made us feel very comfortable and you can tell that he loves his job.
