Rhodes Island Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rhodes at 9 am and set off to discover the must-see monuments and landmarks of the largest of Greece's Dodecanese islands.
The first stop on our tour of Rhodes will be at Kritinia Castle, a medieval fortress located at the top of Mount Attavyros. As we tour the ruins of the castle, we'll learn the stories of the many battles that have taken place here, defending the island from the Turks and Venetians.
After taking in the breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea from Kritinia Castle, we will head to the small village of Embona. Here we'll learn about the traditional production of olive and wine on Rhodes. We'll also enjoy a tasting of local wine and olive oil, discovering Rhodes through our tastebuds!
The next stop will be at Profitis Ilias mountain, the perfect place to get in touch with the spectacular natural landscapes of Rhodes. We'll visit the mountain's best viewpoints so that you can take pictures of the beautiful views, before returning to the minibus and making our way to the Byzantine Church of St. Nicholas in Fountouklis.
Towards the middle of the day, you'll have an hour of free time to get some lunch in a local tavern. After eating, we'll continue our tour of Rhodes by visiting Kallithea Springs - the highlight of the tour!
We'll end the tour by returning to your hotel at approximately 5 pm.
