The tour will begin in the small village of Apollonia at 9:30 am and head to an agricultural cooperative in this Greek village. Here we'll be shown how they grow and prepare delicious delicacies following the most traditional steps.
We'll continue to learn the secrets of the culture of Rhodes by visiting the Apollonia Folklore Museum. Traditional costumes, architecture and some of the tools used in ancient times for the cultivation of food await us in this interesting tour.
After visiting the museum, we'll go to a small wine cellar where we'll tell you all about the Rhodes wine, what kind of grapes are used, why is it one of the most awarded wines in Greece, we'll find out!
Our next stop will be the restaurant we'll prepare traditional Greek dishes to learn how to cook tzatziki, pitaroudia, Greek salad, gemista and dolmadakia - finger-licking good!
After getting our hands dirty, we'll sit at the table and taste our own creations. With this good taste in our mouths, we'll return to the starting point and end this tour at approximately 3 pm.
