Silfra Snorkeling Tour
Silfra Snorkelling Tour
We'll meet at the agreed meeting point in Reykjavík and head to one of Iceland's most fascinating natural sites, Silfra Fissure where you'll be able to snorkel in crystal clear waters.
Next, we'll travel to Silfra Fissure, which is located in the heart of Thingvellir National Park. Once in this volcanic area, we'll kit ourselves out with all the necessary equipment and start snorkelling. You'll be diving between the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia, so you'll be swimming between two continents!
The Silfra Fissure is one of the best places in the world to snorkel because of the clarity of its waters. As we swim, we'll see the canyon walls, pass Silfra Hall, the widest part of the rift and, of course, Silfra Cathedral a truly stunning underwater site.
After the dive, we'll return to the surface at the Royal Blue Lagoon. There we'll warm up with a hot chocolate and a snack and finally, we'll drop you off at the starting point in Reykjavík at approximately 2:30 pm.
